Abstract:

The purpose of the research is to identify blockchain technology strategies in the oil and gas industry. In this research, the mixed research method has been used. In the qualitative part of the research community, there were experts in the field of blockchain technology, 12 of whom were purposefully selected for in-depth interviews. Open and axial coding was used to analyze the data. The statistical sample consisted of 232 IT professionals who were randomly selected from the community. To analyze the data in a small part, variance-based structural equations have been used. The results of qualitative analysis show that 42 initial conceptual propositions (frequency 604) were drawn and presented with 36 sub-categories, 6 main categorical propositions and a central code of blockchain technology strategies. Quantitative results indicate that the model does not need to be modified.
